
Lebanese Mung Bean Mujaddara
Wholesome rice and lentil dish
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 1 cup Darsa Mung Beans with skin
- 3/4 cup Darsa Rice Powder
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Darsa Organic Cumin Powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Cook mung beans until tender (20 minutes), then drain.
- Cook rice separately.
- In a pan, caramelize onions in olive oil.
- Combine rice, beans, spices, and top with onions.
